After a foreclosure, all but a limited set of judgement liens (federal, state, and local government, some condo association fees) are extinguished. What happens to judgement liens against the property if the previous owner redeems the property? Are the judgement liens against the property still valid?

If the prior owner excercise their right of redemption ALL liens stay in place as before the foreclosure.

Otherwise, everybody would go to foreclosure, get Liens removed and buy back…wht a deal!

You did not stump the experts…we just thought everybody knew that.
