Ask the KY Dept of Finance to cite for you those KY statutes that require such a license.

Then YOU read those statutes and see if they pertain to or control a note broker and his business activities.

This is news to be but I was contacted by the Department of Finance today and they stated I need to have a Mortgage company license to broker notes here. My thinking they are unclear on what I am doing. Can anyone give me some insight on this before I get a license?
