yes thats exactly what i was thinking, just in case they move out and dont buy and i have a few months i have to pay the mortgate or anything that may come up.

hi guys im planning on purchasing a home via lease option and then rent to own the house to a tennant. what happens if the tennant doesnt pay the rent and you have to pay the owner. obviously it must come out of your pocket but is there a better way to structure a deal to help protect yourself?

Get as much option consideration up front as you can and DON’T spend it on beer and women. Keep it handy in case you need it.
