The former owners may have all sorts of reasons for why they didn’t pick up the items in a timely manner: impossibility of performance (you wouldn’t let them in), waiver (you told them there was no hurry) and the like. I think the cleanest path for you is to arrange a time with them to pick the stuff up and confirm the date and agreement with a certified letter. Garrett

I purchased a house from a couple. Our contract stated that the previous owners had 30 days aftter closing to remove all items from my garage. Our second day in the home the seller came and removed a few of their items. It has now been approximately 70 days since our closing. The former owners are demanding we give them what was left in our garage and are threatening to take me to court.
