Long answer?
Doesn’t make any sense at all. First you know someone willing to buy a house for 180k. Are they willing to buy a 160k house for 180k? Won’t they be checking the value before committing? Won’t their lender tell them what it’s really worth? How do you know them? Are they friends? Relatives? Would you want friends or relatives to do that to you? If the seller already has a Realtor (a legal one at that), then why do they need you. Why would the seller raise the price and then pay commission on an additional 20k? Just doesn’t make sense.
