Hello!!!
Here’s a question: Very few of HUD homes carry “available to investors”. What does it mean? Does it mean that if I’m bying the house to fix it up and resell for profit or rent it out I cannot bye HUD property?
Should the bid be made by the agent?

HUD offers first to owner occupants, then to investors. When you contract as an owner occupant you are certifying that you will be living there. I choose not to play games with HUD, and go only for the investor properties. In fact, only for the investor properties which are “further additionally reduced”!
Find a broker who is experienced with HUD bids. Ask them how many they have submitted in the past 6 months, and how many they have gotten.
