Robert, I can’t answer your question, but I have been looking around trying to find out the same thing. I want to start one in Alabama. I am a realtor and have never worked in the mortgage broking field. I pretty much have a full concept of how things are ran, I just would like to know how to get the lenders. I went to this site called Ellie Mae, and they sell mortgage broker software and they have a list of lenders they use, so I guess that can be a good start. I really want to know all of this info before I start putting money into getting the actual license. Any thing you could share on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
I have been in the banking/mortgage industry for 11 years in Florida. I recently moved to Rhode Island a business associate is wanting to open a mortgage company. What is required in the state of Rhode Island?
Respectfully,

The easiest way to get leads is to buy them. The best way to get leads is to be referred. Buy leads, and while you are trying to generate business that way, work on your referral systems.
I have used The Marina Group before www.themarinagroup.net They offer 100% exclusive leads and it cost cheaper than the other leads generation company. What I have found out is that the leads company usually outsource those leads generation. And the marina group is the source. That is why it is cheaper. They offer batch leads and all of leads are guaranteed.
