Two questions;

  1. is anyone familiar with the redemption process when buying a house from the court. my state has 30 days if vacant, 6 mo. to a year if occuppied.

  2. if the court has a comp. which allows you to search address for mortgages, do you still need a title search.

Keep in mind that not everything on that computer is necessarily filed correctly. Are you absolutely SURE you can find every lien against a particular property? If you are not sure, then you need a title search. Do you want to buy that nice little bungalow for $1000 only to find out later that it has a $50,000 lien against it?
