Hello to all. If a house is going into foreclosure and it has a first mortgage and a second mortgage? Who claims the foreclosure and how is that determined.Also, should an investor touch that? Thanks,to all.

I’m not sure if I understand your question, but whichever mortgage has delinquent payments can initiate foreclosure proceedings independent of each other.

You should consult with an attorney who can explain to you the impact of purchasing a property at foreclosure and what other liens or mortgages you would be responsible for. I am not an attorney.
