Depends what state you are in. In general though, Junior lien holders must receive notice.

Wrote an offer on a property today.
Sheriff’s sale was Thursday.
Called the second- which I’m going to try to jam down to $500- and they claim that since they weren’t notified of the foreclosure sale, they “don’t have to honor it.”
My understanding was that the first has no obligation to notify any juniors…
anyone know one way or the other?
