Richard,

If you possess title on your mobile home and you are not in a contract which prohibits or limits it's removal, your are free to move the home to any place you can.
If your park evicts you, you will most likely be required to move your home, assuming the reason for eviction was not non-payment of lot rent or other fees. If someone has placed a lien on your MH's title, it's movement may be restricted according to the laws of your state. Contact your local DMV for any recourse intructions.

I saw a message posted to USENET about a law requiring FL park owners to compensate MH owners for relocating. Seems it was effective July 2001. Anyone have any details?
Seems it stems from a court case in Tampa some years back.

TIA,
Charles

I would like information as how to protect my ownership of my mobile home from park owners in case of an eviction from the park, and I still am the owner of the mobile home? Can the park owner take my home? If so, what steps does one take to prevent that from happening?? thank you for your time.
