My partner and I own several condominiums in the same building and a free-standing home in another state. Although we own a few properties which are paid for. I have 8 outstanding mortgages & he has 9 (each of these mortgages is for less than 40K. Four of them we have together. We have great credit and have never paid any credit cards or mortgages late, but we have run into a prolem with financing. The last mortgage company we contacted had a limit of 10 mortgages the applicant could have. Is there a way we can seek alternate financing for future properties? We have no problem with putting 20% down. Please help.

Marcie,

What state are you investing in? I have a lender who will finance four properties, no matter how many you already own. 100% N/O/O, 80/20 combo, no prepayment penalties.

The properties are in NJ. I wasn’t sure if this went through the first time. Thank you.
