FICO range is approx 450 to 950.
450 is BK and in prison. 950 is never late and perfectly balanced debt to income. Not enough debt will actually bring down your score.

Quick question.

Before you start working on growing your fico, what is your begining fico score.
If you have NO credit, what would it be??

Thanx

You would have no score. On a credit report it comes across as “fair isaac score not available due to lack of credit history”. A non-person, as it were.

It would mean at least 6 months with no revolving, loans, car payments, etc.

Cool trick question! I don’t know what the starting number is for FICO. I hope someone does know just for curiousity’s sake.

I would think a base score of 100 would be a good starting point. You know how you get plus this amount for paying on time, plus this for having good marks, minus this for paying late, minus that for bankruptcy, etc…

I think you should get at least 100 to start with. You know, 20 points for being a human being, 38 points for having knowledge of what a FICO is, 42 points for actually being able to spell FICO. BOOM! You get 100 points to start!
