Do not send anyone a dime without something in writing that satisfies you everything is honest and above board. If its someone you don’t know, check them out. Make them PROVE to you they aren’t just a scam. Make them do it in writing so if you have to report them to law enforcement or sue them you have something for the judge to see.

I have countrywide as my mortgage company. We fell 4 months behind after I lost my job. They had our home up for auction with samuel L. White attiorney for January 23rd. I went to his site and the house is not on for jan 23. We called country wide and said the sale is still scheduled, We called counrtywide and they said if we send $2125… in before monday they will start a remodification of the loan. back on December 21 they told us that we were already approved for the remodification and would recieve the re modification loan papers and we were to send the $2125.00 by Monday. Margert taylor our loan officer says they have not even started it yet? they have not even started the remod yet. We were told right from the start that we would get the remod loan papers and then we were to sign them and then send the money in a cashiers check. I called them back ad asked them for something in writing faxed to me stating that if I send the $2125. that ths will stop the auction. they are have not gotten back with me. we call everyday and they tell us they can only leave msg;s for call backs every 2 days not sooner. I only owe $4250. on the mortgage. I am confused shousl I send them the money without some thing in writing? HELP. I am so confused… I want to keep our house…

Nothing but the money we have sent them. All the things they promissed were on the phone on a recorded line. That is what they said every time we spoke with them. This conversation is being recorded
