I’am a novice investor located in MD. I want to get started in RE investing but don’t have much cash or credit. One thing that I do have in my favor is that I own a home, not much equity (less than one year), but would like for anyone to help explain how I could use my home as leverage,collateral, or refinance to acquire investment properties.

Hello,

I’ve read much of the advice given here on the forum.

I am contemplating “jumping in” and would like to hear from any experienced RI in Maryland. My thinking is that advice that may work in one area may not work in another. My location is, more specifically, Central Maryland.

Any advice from Marylanders?
