RRSmith, thanks for the reading suggestions, which I will followup on. I read most of Nickersons stuff back in the 70’s when I started. I continually used the same subs back then and eventually put them on as employees. My question would be how some of the experienced rehabbers have structured their companies. You apparently only use partners, and I do this too, but will you share how you set up the %'s, and what you actually do for your %?

I am partnering ever when i work as an engineer, you should read: Trammell Crow,
Master Builder : The Story of America’s Largest Real Estate Empire
(also very good for commerical REInvestors)
by Robert Sobel

and Nickerson …neither of which you have read, otherwise you would call it partnering
(not compensation per hour!?)

The E Myth would be good also, look up the other post(s) using this book title.
