I live in maryland near wash dc. Do you think carleton sheets method can work for me because I’ve seen so many abandoned and fixer- up properties. And what about the four to six unit apartment buildings. But I need to find what area is best for me. Could someone help me as to what I need to do.

I live in a very small town (pop 7) and everyone lives in one house as they are related. How can I make 10k/mo in real estate?

Fred,
If you were serious (which by your posting - ‘I dought’), but if you really were, I’d look to expand my market. I do deals as far away as over 100 miles from my town. Most of the deals I do are in the S.F./Oakland (52 miles) and Sacramento (65 miles) areas. Distance is NOT the factor for deals and profits. You should look closer to home for your answers.

If the population is only 7, why not buy the whole town for no money down, then rent the whole town out!?!?
