Hi,

I have a question regarding the legalities of my husband and I forming an office. Currently he is a broker who doesn’t work as a ‘traditional’ broker (ie, for a real estate company w/ agents under him), but more in commercial property management/aquisitions. But he does use his license mainly for personal investments and selling our personal property and we have MLS.

I am just completing the pre-license course and plan on having my license this summer, mainly as a part time avenue to supplement our income when I quit my full time job to have a family.

Since he is a broker I plan on working under him, but I need to understand what we need to do in terms of forming a corporation.

Any advice on where to start? thanks!
