They often have helpful info.

I have an uncle in (MO) that passed in July. His next of kin is my grandmohter who is in a nursing home in (CA). Next is my mother. My grandmother is unable to make any calls or find out much information. She has had a friend of hers try to make some calls, though I do not know how much success. I am quite sure that if there is a will, which I am sure that there is, that somethings are left to my brother. I do know also he has quite a bit of valuable things in his home, etc. How does it happen, if a will is not pulled out or such?? I would like to know what happens to all the things in his home and how I can find out more information??? I have tried doing several searches on line, yet can not find much. My dad mentioned a summons being posted in local newspapers to distrubite the property??
