credit score in letters? - Posted by Meredith

Hi Meredith,

Starting with “D” credit a person would not conform to conventional financing requirements approximately 550 up to 600 an individual would be considered a “D” credit risk.

“C” Credit (again the scores are appoximate)600 to 620 at this point lenders will consider better rates although below 620 they still are non-conforming.

“B” Credit approximately 640 to 665

“A” Credit Anything above 665 into the 700’s which begins A+, A++ an so one, I have seen one person have a score of A+++.

Meredith these score values are no way 100% accurate but it will give you an idea of how the numerical designation corresponds to the letter value.

Sincerely,

Bruce Lawson

I have seen several posts referring to credit scores in letters. A, B etc. Can someone tell me how they are rated numbers vs. letters. Thank You
