It looks like I’m starting to understand the basics of L/O and Subject to transactions and it’s time to contact a good RE lawyer to review all my forms. Generally they are Bronchicks forms and I have no idea if they will work in Canada. Does anybody know a good creative RE attorney in Toronto? You can contact me at: alex101@sympatico.ca

Alex,

Join the local RE group - you’ll find the contact information for CANREIG (Canadian Real Estate Investment Group) in the “Real Estate Clubs” link on this site.

They should be able to help you find a lawyer who understands this stuff in the Canadian context.

Ditto on the previous posting. I am a member of CANREIG. There is a club meeting tommorrow night Wednesday at 7:00. Its at the Holiday Inn near the airport. Not the Express but the one that has a Perkins Restaurant attached. You can network with all sorts of professionals there. The club has a lawyer that I met. He seems good.

The website is www.canreig.com
