Talk to your title co. and see what, if anything, they think you need to do…probably nothing is what I’m guessing as they’re very used to these errors and deal with them all the time.
If anything, they’d probably like to have your grantor sign a corrected deed, as the error was in the deed he signed.
I once got a correction deed in the mail from a lawyer on a deal far away and long ago, as I’d sold that property years ago, and it’s gone through several owners in the interim.
The lawyer, representing a title co., felt his co. should have my original deed corrected to reflect an odd property line situation, which I suppose had not been described thoroughly in my original deed…which had been drafted by his title co.'s LPO (ltd practice officer).
