Knock on the door and introduce yourself. Most tenants are scared poopless when they find out a building is being sold, and really welcome talking to someone who knows what’s going on.

I am purchasing a tri-plex that has tenants in place. Does anyone have any suggestions on how my first contact with them should go? Do I need to show or give them any documentation? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
