Why doesn’t everyone just draw up an addendum to the contract that says two things:
Everything is disclosed and the net to the seller is the same.

As the home seller, we have found out that the selling agent (not our listing agent) of our home will be moving into it with her relative. This relative is the one getting the loan & is the only person listed on the sales contract. The agent is trying to concoct some “outside of sales agreement” deals with us (and our RE agent) to allow her commission to go towards the deal. Is this legal? To the best of my recollection, the RE documents at closing ask if we have any other deals with the parties outside of the sales contract. Would it be easier for her to gift those funds to the buyer instead?
