Books are good but rarely complete.
I have found that just consulting your local brokers and lenders specializing in creative financing can really provide you with the best actual picture of your available options and opportunities in your area. I have found many sources of lenders by actual face to face contact and by phone. Some of my best resources came from my real estate investment club with over 150 members. I strongly recommend that you try and locate a real estate investment club in your area as well.

I have never closed a realestate deal, except for the house that I now live in, but I would like to get started in the realestate business. I assume that financing is an area that I need to think about before I start searching for deals. What is a good book to get me educated in some creative financing? I don’t really need any tapes or package deals, just a good book on realestate financing.
