MidOhio and Entrust have the best web sites and explanations of RE in the self directed IRA. Their fees are based on the value. You should also look at TASC(trustlynk.com), they charge on a flat fee basis regardless of value. There are many things you can do and some you can’t. Jim Kennedy gives you a list at http://www.creonline.com/wwwboard/messages/68362.html

Help!
Has anyone rolled a 401k into a self-directed ira for real estate purchases? I am 51, recently retired, I do well trading within my savings plan and am cautious as to maybe regretting the move later for whatever reason. I am currently reading many books and will take a re course at the cc and purchase some courses but if I take it out it can’t go back in. Anyone been here? Hope this is the right place for posting this.
thanks for any responses,
tim
