By the way, your mortgage would have to be recorded before the support lien to wipe it out. If you put a mortgage on now and foreclosed it, you would take it subject to all seniors, including the support lien, leaving you right where you are now.

I bought a property in forclosure subject 2 the 1st mortgage.It has a child support lien that i missed when doing title research.The lien is for about 26,000.00 and climbing. I keep trying contacting the district attorney about a partial release, but never hear back from his office. If I attach a junior mortgage to the property and then foreclose on it won’t that wipe out the child support lien?

Just file with the title insurance company. Let them worry about it.
