Problem here is that the bankruptcy trustee can choose to cancel the contract if he chooses. Not much you can do here.

I got a house under contract from a seller in BK at this time. We sent the entire signed contract to her lawyer, per his request, and then sent it to the title company with the $100 escrow money.

This was Thursday. Now the seller is very hard to reach. My feeling is that the seller is shopping the offer around. They are facing a court date the 28th that will lift the BK and then the bank will foreclose.

Any thoughts to protect my interest here? The lawyers office will not talk to us at all. Other than when they told us where to fax the contract.
