Stay home and don’t invest - that’s the least risk. Seriously, all business involves risk, so you have to be willing to accept the fact that you can LOSE YOUR *SS! If you do it smart, learn as much as you can, study hard, do your due diligence, incorporate for protection and engage good professional help, then the risk is reduced.

The problem is, too many short-sighted, impatient people go off half-cocked, breeze over the legal details, are too cheap to pay for their education or a good attorney, then end up with bad deal that haunts them financially.

I just read William Bronchick’s response to a question about incorporating when doing lease options. I was always under the impression that lease options were the safest way to invest, but it looks a lot riskier. What is the safest legal way to invest in real estate?
