Everyone’s responses have been great and very inspiring but could someone please answer this question:
The reason I want to get into rei is the Phoenix market is incredible. The downtown revitilization is happening and houses are cheap and within a year will easily double in price. Let’s say I jump in and find a house to buy with a motivated seller. I make an offer, they accept. Then what? I don’t get a conventional loan, right? How do people buy houses without using their credit or $20,000 down or mortgaging their own home (I don’t have one). Maybe I am missing something but that is what bothers me and sorry if this is really stupid but where do you get the money?
