A matter this complicated demands YOUR lawyer look into it and represent you.

Not a matter to try to solve on a public discussion board.

bank says my closing was not legal? - Posted by logan

I took over a property “Subject To”. The place needed work and the owner was falling behind on payments. I paid some of the payments to hold off a foreclosure until i had it appraised and put the house in my name. A mortgage company wasted my time on getting this deal done. The place was 2 payments behind and I went to a bank to do the deal.

They said they could close this and knocked it out in a very short time. I closed on the end of March and thought that was it. I went to the property and the orginal loan holder changed the locks on the property and turned off the water. They put stickers on everything like it was forclosed on. I called the original loan holdeer (which is a large Bank) and asked why they did this? The manager at the Bank said he has no info except that the closing was not legal? I said why did they not tell my bank? (who did the closing) So i still don’t own this and my bank doesn’t know about it and I took cash out on the property. Not to mention they trashed the house and broke stuff. Do i have legal recourse on this?
