Regarding the applications that you recieve,
of the ones that you DO NOT SELECT from:
is it documented why they were not selected
are they notified why there were not selected
giving them the reason?
How do you know which one you receive first?
I do not know alot about Fair Housing, mostly
the information from Jeffrey Taylor. Don’t we
have to select the first one who meets our
minimum criteria?

Hi everyone,
I have had quite a few asking for their website

I cannot do this business without them. They check
their credit and their rental history.
One quick story, a tenant applied, had a hard luck story but
seemed believeable, I ran the credit/background
check and found out that another landlord also
ran a check on them. I asked who the landlord was
and it was a good friend. Upon calling them, we
compared the story the tenant told each of us,
and they were different. Because of that, neither
of us rented to them.
We let our applicants know that lying is not an
acceptable way to do business.
Anyone can get a credit check done, but their
background check is what we like best.
