One option is to go to another brokerage company. I can understand that brokerage companies may prohibit certain types of transactions but this seems very restrictive.

I think you can bird dog under your current situation. You just act as the buyers agent.

I am licensed as an agent with a large brokerage that does not allow for agents to do lease options as a principal and then resale to tennant buyers, short sales, or anything else. I want to do these and I don’t understand if the best and fastest way (I would also like to bird-dog a couple of deals to a local deep pocketed investor for much needed quick cash), should I get my broker’s lic (I can but it will take more time than I want), go inactive ( I don’t think this will solve my problem) or just quit my license alltogether. I could really use some advice here, I just want to become a “transaction engineer”. thanks

Why not just change your brokerage firms to one who would allow it?
