Yes… you need to submit the offer through the realtor. This is no problem, just remember to include the realtor commissions in your offer.

i have a lead on a house in preforclosure listed with a realtor, over the past 3mths the realtor has had one showing and no offers. i want to short sale the house, and get it under contract contingent upon the lender accepting a short sale, when i meet with the owners this wednesday. do i need to go through the realtor to get this under contract?
