I have an investment deal on a 4-plex. The seller wants 55000 down and will carry the rest 144000 at 6.5 percent over 20 years. I’m trying to figure out the best way to get the 55000 downpayment. Are there banks or private investors who would lend me the 55000 on a 199000 4-plex? If there would be a down payment would they base it on the loan amount or on the purchase price (199000)? Would a bank bark if I asked for 65000? (I pocket 10000 at close).
