Because of the age of the unit, and possibly it’s condition. Most investors would be thinking about $500 to $1,000 total for the unit. Also whether or not it needs to be moved is a factor. The older units tend to be difficult to move.
It sounds like the offer that you have found is more like retail than wholesale, go slow.
That is a realllllllly old home. I’d pay maybe $500 FLAT for it, $1000 if it’s in really good shape.
I wouldn’t say NO to it just because of age, though. I’d take into consideration the condition of the place, what I think someone would pay me for it, etc.
As long as it looks good, you may be able to swing something. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE IT…it’s too old to move, it’ll fall apart on you!
