I Agree, using the MLS and forsalebyowner sites is the way to go. I’ve sold a few house with ads and signs and I’ve sold a few through real estate agents. The dollar amount and time invested equals out in my opinion.
For example, my last house I sold through a real estate agent sold in 2 days.
now, I only do maybe 2 or 3 a year, but I’ve been doing this stuff since 97 and I just prefer the easy route with the least amount of time and aggravation.

stretched for 10 days. Soon someone will wake up to 6daysale, 7daysale, 8daysale, 9daysale, 11 day sale, 12 day sale. If 10day sale is anything like 5daysale with ads in the papers it won’t work. Most buyers are now using the web. The systems I use are MLS exposure, forsalebyowner.com and nodiscount selling system.
If that doesn’t work the house is in the wrong location wrong time to sell.
